LOST

(Fifth Semester 2023-2024)

This series of photographs entitled LOST, 

depicts a wandering in a fantastic forest, unfolding, within a dream. Through the eyes of a character, lost in this dream and

observing everything around him without knowing exactly where he is, we follow a path, which at the end, helps him find the exit, escape and wake up.

This series consists of 30 photos taken in Alsos Syggrou starting in Kifissia and ending in Marousi, to present this feeling of the imaginary dream landscape I was looking for, without necessarily referring to something frightening but instead to something safe, distant and at the same time foreign.

In the images, there is no human presence, thus highlighting the sense of loneliness and the atmosphere of the dream.

As regards the technical characteristics of the matter, most general shots were made using a 18mm focal lens to be attributed

the concept of path and wandering, with a little deformation, while the nearby shots were made with a 35mm lens for a more precise focus on the details. Finally, the conscious choice of blue color, along with the few cloudy and glamorous elements highlighted in the photographs, it creates the essential fantastic image, repeated throughout the line.
